I just had a chat with a CEO.

CEO: Good point. Yeah, I see I’m expecting to people to do exactly what I don’t.

Me: Consider just making two simple shifts to your flow:

Social media/website strangers → trust-growing CEO to CEO emails → ā€˜no sales call’ qualifying process → better clients.

CEO: But we already send out our weekly company newsletter. Isn’t that enough?

Me: How’s that working for you?

CEO: Ha! Ouch! Yeah, even I don’t read our stuff. OK– point landed. Help me fix this.

There’s a counterintuitive email strategy that works to create more consulting clients.

I stopped offering it as a service because, frankly, consultants ā€˜make up stories’ about what their email list wants.

Once a week. 
Once a month.
ā€œIf it were meā€¦ā€      (spoiler: It ain’t you.)

Side trip…
